Zonder een deskundige opstaltaxatie of inventaristaxatie komt het vaak voor dat men onderverzekerd of oververzekerd is. Bij het ontbreken van een verzekeringstaxatie of bij onderverzekering kan het zijn dat uw verzekeraar, in geval van schade, de dagwaarde vergoedt in plaats van de nieuwwaarde voor machinerie\u00ebn. Voor vastgoed bestaat een re\u00eble mogelijkheid van onderverzekering waardoor u maar een gedeelte van de schade krijgt uitgekeerd. In het geval van een oververzekering zal de verzekeraar in geval van een schade w\u00e9l de herbouwwaarde en\/of nieuwwaarde uitkeren om de schade volledig te herstellen. De verzekeraar zal dit echter als maximum hanteren en niet het maximale bedrag waarvoor de verzekering is afgesloten. Ook kunnen wij een actuele waarde (dagwaarde) bepalen voor activa die niet cruciaal meer zijn voor de bedrijfsvoering maar waarvoor wel een schade-uitkering gewenst is.
