Een asset reconciliation is nodig omdat de activalijsten van accounting vaak niet overeenkomen met de technische service- en onderhoudslijsten. In de boekhouding worden machines vaak in groepen geactiveerd op basis van specifieke projecten of facturen van equipment leveranciers. Of activa krijgen verschillende activanummers toegewezen in vergelijking met nummers die worden gebruikt door de onderhoudsafdeling. Voor The Valuation Company bestaat een asset reconciliation uit, maar is niet beperkt tot, (i) opschonen van de activalijst waarin eenduidige nummering wordt toegepast, (ii) het scheiden van machine gerelateerde activa van gebouwen, (iii) het organiseren van productieprocessen en cost centers . Daarbij gebruiken we ge\u00efntegreerde modellen zonder de boekhoudkundige afschrijving van activa te be\u00efnvloeden. Het voordeel is dat de technische dienst de onderhoudskosten kan boeken op een juiste activa en vervanging van apparatuur \u00e9\u00e9n op \u00e9\u00e9n kan worden verwerkt in de onderhouds- en activalijst.
