In deze due diligence analyseren we de historische productiecijfers, bijvoorbeeld OPEX- en CAPEX-ramingen worden vergeleken met gangbare praktijken in de industrie. Een activa-reconciliatie is nodig omdat de boekhoudkundige activa-lijsten vaak onvolledig zijn of niet overeenkomen met de technische service-\/onderhoudslijsten. In de boekhouding worden machines vaak als geheel geactiveerd volgens specifieke projecten of facturen van leveranciers. Of activa worden toegewezen aan andere activanummers dan de nummers die door de onderhoudsafdeling worden gebruikt. Voor The Valuation Company betekent een activa-reconciliatie, maar is niet beperkt tot, (i) het opschonen van de activalijst waarbij een eenduidige nummering wordt toegepast, (ii) het scheiden van machinegerelateerde activa van gebouwen, en (iii) het organiseren van productieprocessen en kostencentra. Daarbij gebruiken we ge\u00efntegreerde modellen zonder invloed uit te oefenen op de boekhoudkundige afschrijving van activa. Het voordeel is dat de technische afdeling kosten van activiteiten kan toerekenen aan de juiste activa, en vervanging van apparatuur \u00e9\u00e9n-op-\u00e9\u00e9n kan worden verwerkt in de onderhouds- en activalijst.
